Thetford Refrigerators
Thetford are fairly new to producing refrigerators.
To Operate
To switch the unit on depress and hold the small rectangular button situated next to the Thetford logo. A blue LED will light and the LCD screen will operate. To select a power source press the left hand button until either a plug (240v) a flame( gas) or a battery (12v) is visible. Note, for 12v operation a vehicle has to be connected to the caravan with the engine running.
The gas has an electronic ignition system which may take some priming when first operated. When it fails a spanner will show with the number 10 next to it. Select gas again and the system will retry.
Once the desired power input is selected the temperature of the refrigerator can be set by depressing the right hand button. The more bars showing on the scale, the lower the temperature of the refrigerator.
If the refrigerator is new it may produce a smell when first operated, this will pass within 24 hours.
